Christmas Extravaganza

As I'm sitting in class I'm not really paying attention at all. I'm thinking of the plans for the Christmas Party that Hannah, Mackenzie, Ainsley and I are throwing. It is going to be the classiest event you've ever seen. Very Gossip Girl-esque. If you haven't seen the show, I highly recommend you do because it is the most amazing show ever(even though it is over after six long seasons). Anyways, the four of us are having a very official meeting to sort out some plans for the party (Which is so classy it is more of an event or a gala). The four of us even have a secret Pinterest board where we are pinning our most favorite ideas for the party. It's already been decided that we are going shopping for new, formal dresses (actually Ainsley and I decided that). We also decided to listen to only classy Christmas songs (and perhaps we will break out Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree and Feliz Navidad towards the end, when the classiness has worn off). The saddest thing of all is that none of our friends or peers at school are classy. Whatsoever. They find basketball shorts and t shirts, or yoga pants and white vans to be appropriate attire for day to day wear. Just no. That is probably my biggest pet peeve: when people do not understand the value of fashion and style (that is another topic on its' own). So we are shopping for classy, elegant dresses before our party. We are also serving fancy foods (all on a budget, obviously). That is why Pinterest (another blog topic) is so amazing! It has given the four of us many incredible, cheap ideas. I'm typing this all in class am I impressive or what? Anywho, our main dilemma is that no one seems to be classy and... Mature enough for a party of these measures. It is most definitely a Christmas catastrophe. You can not just make obnoxious, arrogant teenagers classy, sophisticated young adults. (That should be a famous quote). Well, I can not wait for the meeting this evening. Finally, this party will be finalized. 'Tis the season! Until next time xxx.
