The Best Realization

I had the best realization this morning or sometime late last night.  It hit me like a train on a tracks.  Here is what I've realized: life is short and unexpected but every little thing is meant to be.
Yes, it may sound cheesy but I don't really care.  My life is sort of in a weird spot right now. There is some family drama and that certainly disrupts my mood and outlook on life in general.  Yet I am giving it my all to overcome it.  I've realized that everything will be okay.  Every little thing in life happens for a particular reason.  Typically, they are reasons we will never understand.

I came across an article that I found to be incredibly interesting.  It discusses how some small decisions and obstacles saved lives on September 11, 2001.  I have always been intrigued by 9/11 because I can never fully comprehend exactly why something so tragic and downright horrible could ever occur.

That has helped me even further in my realization.  Life doesn't always make sense in the moment.  It's confusing and questionable but it is exactly the way it is supposed to be.

This article is important and this article opened my eyes.  Every little thing we all do each day happens for a reason.  It is undeniable.

I'm not saying you have to read all of this article (it's quite long) or any at all, but think about.  It changed everything.  Until next time xxx.

Summer Plans

I should be working on homework, but instead I am thinking of the wonderful summers that lie ahead.  I am so incredibly excited for the next TWO summers because I have some \ incredible plans.
This summer, I will be visiting California.  I may be traveling alone, or with my mom.  While that's still undecided, I can not wait to spend some time with my family and see my friends.  I miss them terribly and it will be truly great to go back home.  No matter how many years pass, California will always be more familiar to me than Colorado ever will.  I am even in the midst of planning a reunion with all my old friends from elementary school. It will be so exciting and fun to be back with all of them!  Also during this summer, I will be going on a long road trip with my family.  It is most likely going to be in the South.  I've always wanted to visit places like Nashville, New Orleans, and Atlanta.  Now, I finally have the opportunity!  It will be a busy, busy summer, but also full of many great memories.  I've never wanted summer to come faster than right now.
Over the summer of 2015, I will be traveling to Europe on a school trip.  Not only to Europe, but London and Paris specifically.  Paris is my dream and in about a year I will be finally be there.  My best friend is also going on the trip and it is our dream to go to Paris together.  It is so exciting and I have such high hopes.  I honestly could not contain myself when my parents broke the news.  Mackenzie and Hannah went to Europe over the summer of 2013 and got to explore places like Germany and Budapest.  They said it was the time of their lives, and I know going to London and France will be mine.

While anticipating summer is a fun thing to do, I've decided to enjoy school for what it is.  After all, I'm already almost halfway through high school.  It is such a scary but eye opening thought.  By the time I'm in Europe, I will only have my senior year remaining.  I can hardly believe it.  So, yes, I'm beyond excited for the next two summers, but I have decided to enjoy each moment for what it is.  Until next time xxx.

My Most Sincere of Apologies

Hello everyone!  I am truly sorry for the lack in posts.  First there was spring break, and I've already been back at school for a week.  Things sure can get hectic in only five days!  I had a tennis match on Friday (yesterday) at our rival high school.  All the other teams seemed to be losing, but my partner and I won!  Twice!  We had to play a second team.  It was long and freezing outside, but overall fun!
I'm working on some homework now and spending a quiet night at home.  I just wanted to let you all know how awesome I think you are for reading this blog and I really am sorry I have been not been posting more.  You all are super cool and I hope all is well in your lives.  I have a few good ideas for new posts.  Until next time xxx.
